The following are descriptions of the main areas to volunteer.
Setup Assistance - Help transport and setup secenery and equipment at the town green before the event. This usually starts around 9am and ends around 3pm. You do not need to help for the entire window.
Tear Down Assitance - Help take down and transport scenery and equipment back to the church at the end of the event.
Drama Actor - Act out a scene in the nativity drama multiple times throughout the event. Practice with other actors from your scene in the month before the event. Parts have varying levels of speaking and acting required.
Event Hospitality Team - Make event guests feel welcome by greeting them, giving them directions, talking with them, or passing out hot beverages.
Caroling Team - Sing Christmas carols with a small ensemble periodically throughout the event for and with the event guests. A few short practices will occur in the month before the event.
Background Team - Assist with background tasks as needed during the event to keep things running smoothly.
Volunteer Meal Team - Help prepare and serve a meal to volunteers before the event so they can arrive early and focus on their preparation.
